Free standing Acrylic Sneeze Screens

Why did we start producing sneeze screens?

When lockdown first started we were very worried as many of our customers are from the retail and events sectors. Fortunately, we love the challenge of finding solutions to problems and designing things. We were also very keen to help, if we could; like everyone else, we are immensely grateful to all the key workers out there. So we set about designing sneeze screens that could be easily assembled.

What makes our design stand out?

We came up with a design that is easy to assemble, as it simply slots together. We were aware that many of our customers are hoping these will not become a permanent fixture and therefore wanted to purchase free standing screens. Our cough guards do not need to be fixed to any surface as their legs are thicker than the screens, thus making them heavy. This means that our screens are really strong and sturdy. We also wanted to make our design easy to distribute and able to be put together quickly. That is why our screens are flat packed and no tools are required during assembly.

Who are our customers?

We have been working hard to meet demand. Initially our customers were mainly hospitals, pharmacies, doctors surgeries and convenience stores as they were the only places open at the beginning of lockdown. More recently we have been supplying offices, council buildings and schools as they think about returning to work.

We have had lots of positive feedback from our customers, which has been lovely and made the long hours worthwhile. Some of them have even sent us photos of their sneeze screens in place, which we have really appreciated receiving.

What sizes do our sneeze screens come in?

We make a variety of standard sizes in two different heights of 750mm and 1000mm. Each screen comes with a standard opening of 1250mm high and 300mm wide to push documents etc through. However, as we make our screens to order we can adjust sizes and the design according to our customers requirements. We make screens up to 3 metres; please contact us to find out more.

Can our screens be recycled?

We are dedicated to reducing waste, increasing efficiency and reusing and recycling waste wherever possible. We will always try to get the maximum amount of usage out of each sheet of material with as little waste as we can. We offer free recycling of any acrylic or Polycarbonate, purchased from us.
