We are supplying and using more recycled acrylic than ever before. Not only that, but also our recycled material can be in turn recycled; therefore reducing waste.

Recycled acrylic is still long-lasting, plus it looks and performs the same as before. It has the same properties, characteristics as non recycled acrylic, and more importantly you can recycle it back to raw material without losing any of its original properties. This means our sheets and fabrication products are to the same high standards as they always have been.

An example of this material is the new PERSPEX® range which comes in 4 popular colours, black, clear, opal and white. These options are pictured below. These standard colours are available in thicknesses of 3mm and 5mm. We can also supply recycled acrylic in other colours, please contact us to find out more.

If you take into account the lifetime of the product and the warranty of 10 years, PERSPEX®re is truly beneficial for applications where the sustainability of a product is essential. Using this material reduces the requirement for regular replacements and ensures a long lifespan for the resources used.

Acrylic is not the only material that now comes in a recycled option…

Here is a list of recycled materials we supply sheets of and can use in our fabrication work:

  • 100% Recycled Cast Acrylic
  • 90 – 75% recycled content Extruded Acrylic
  • 100% Recycled PVC Foam
  • ACM with over 80% recycled content
  • Polycarbonate with up to 40% recycled content

All of which can be recycled.

We only purchase materials from reputable suppliers

All of our suppliers have committed to reducing CO2 in anyway they can.

70% of our stock is made in the UK, reducing their carbon footprint.

The recycling process for PERSPEX® takes place in Europe, close to their production plants which additionally minimizes the carbon footprint due to the short transport links.

Our other main manufacturers are using a variety of sustainable processes, including heat exchangers, solar power, on site wind turbines and waste water regeneration to produce their products.
