This week we were asked to provide Perspex fabrication for the charity First Touch.

We were honoured to do so as we were already aware of the amazing work they do.

We were approached by First Touch, the dedicated charity of the neonatal unit at St George’s Hospital in Tooting with a special request. They asked us to fabricate an “incubator” for use at events to raise awareness of prematurity and the work First Touch do. We were delighted to make this for them and provide it free of charge. (We were already aware of the incredibly important work they do through some friends of ours and we were more than happy to help in this small way.)

The “incubator” we fabricated will get its first outing on Saturday 13th May at St Matthew’s Church May Fair in Spencer Road SW20 from 11am to 2.30pm. People coming to the charity’s stall will be able to see what a challenge it is to change a baby’s clothes and nappies through the small portholes of an incubator. They will also learn more about how First Touch supports sick and premature babies, and their families.

This still has the protective film on; when taken off it will be clear.
